David “Starcity” White

David White portraits were memorials to friends that drugs/gang violence took before their time. . White's solo show with iv gallery last year "Fractured" was based around the story of his brothers mental health issues that lead to jail and homelessness, he was lost for 8 yrs and found on the streets. His last fair exhibit with us for the Spring Break Art show featured portraits of adult friends who'd lost their lives through the excesses of night life or being involved in facilitating those excesses.
